Seaway-Offshore Limited was formed in 2006 as a partnership between two principals; Sverker Hallstrom and Peter Thomas Bafitis. Seaway-Offshore Limited was formed with the primary goal of utilizing the company’s assets to work in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and the Underwater Salvage Industry.

The company quickly moved to acquire two well known DP-1 ROV support vessels, the M/V Seaway Rover and the M/V Seaway Invincible previously owned and operated by Stolt Offshore.
